Lisa Strong is up to her elbows in gardening when her friend Jenny invites her to a come-as-you-are party. Although she’s dressed in cut-off jeans and an old sweatshirt, Lisa must attend. It’s an old tradition from their college days. To her surprise, handsome newcomer, Danny Fane is there and already in Jenny’s clutches. Jenny is all dolled up, too. To make matters worse, Lisa knows she is going to be working with Danny. Fortunately, Lisa discovers that appearances don’t mean as much as she thought; and a surprising side to her friendship with Jenny is revealed.
